Donate to the I Am Responsible Campaign!

 We are incredibly grateful to the 25 people who made 37 donations totaling $76,680. 

 Through the Capital and I Am Responsible Campaigns we were able to pay off our mortgage, pave the parking lot and make other improvements to our facility. There is currently a balance of $ 53,508 in the Capital Reserve.

 The Board recognizes the need to do fundraising on an annual basis. To paraphrase AA’s “I am Responsible” statement “we want to be sure that when anyone reaches out for help, we will be there. With the 7 percent population growth in our area the need for our services will only grow. Our goals are to continue to make improvements to the facility and add more meetings.

We want to: (1) Continue to make improvements to the property; (2) Increase the number of meetings held at the WAC; and (3) Always maintain a Capital Reserve of $50,000.

We are seeking to maintain our Capital Reserve and to establish an Endowment to help cover unforeseen shortfalls in operating costs.

To reach our goals we will have a fundraising campaign each Fall. We are officially launching our 2026 Annual Fundraising Campaign with the goal of raising $50,000. We are once again asking our members, families, and friends to donate.
